Thank you for reading my 1st blog and being part of this journey! I am honored for your time and attention, and would love to engage in conversation with you.

I've always gravitated towards writing and literature, but it took a great deal of time to launch this blog. What if I'm not consistent enough? Will readers care or find value in this work? How much of an impact could this work possibly have? These questions have been circling in my mind over the past couple months as I've designed this website.

Love of literature aside, the time is now to amplify public health as a national and global priority. I start this blog not as a personal pedestal, but as a pertinent call to action.

Over the next series of blog posts, you can expect two main priorities:

1. The art of medicine

   1. How does one go from student to doctor?

2. The power of our voices

   1. How can we reflect and raise our voices for community health?

As I embark on medical school in the coming year, I tread carefully and intentionally. Research is not to be conducted in a vacuum. Presentations are not to be limited to academics. Medicine and public health innovations are not to be forgotten.
